I’m interested in studying blood vessel growth, differentiation and remodeling. My research in the Bautch lab focuses on understanding the intersection of signals in endothelial cells that determine the choreography of vascular growth and patterning into arteries and veins. In particular I’m interested in BMP pathway signaling and determining how homologous proteins play both distinct and shared roles in cardiovascular development
